Meet our Executive Chef Manuel Baรฑuelos


Manuel, or Kornie, as he's known by his friends, hails from Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. He earned his nickname Kornie years ago for his unabashed love of Korn (not corn). For some, eating is a primal need, something humans need to do for survival. Others view food with a more ritualistic approach, an occasion of ceremony. Chef Manuel pays respect to both schools of thought with deliberate curation of our menu while paying homage to his Mexican heritage. His favorite Padre dishes include our Vegan Ceviche and Grilled Octopus.
